First Class Fitment 2013

LoS Garage took a little road trip last weekend from Chicago to New Jersey for Canibeat’s First Class Fitment show. We drove the LoS support vehicle, an AirRex bagged Honda Fit. From day one, I wanted the Fit to be able to trailer our scooters. So with a hitch installed and a trailer securely attached, GDLK and Kaiju were strapped down and ready to make this 800 mile journey to the east.

Yakuza Air

After a year riding around the met it was finally time to go under the knife. Took us about 4-5 months to figure out which direction we wanted go and the style we’re looking for. It was after we installed the air ride suspension in sonny fit we decided to pull the trigger on going VIP on the scooter. We haven’t really seen any scooter done up in VIP fashion so this will interesting. One of the reason we picked going this route is the body style of the bike, with all the body panels we think its a good candidate.

Front JISO forks have been modified internally to accept pressurized air. Everyone has done the rear, but very few have actually done the fronts. Been testing these out for some time now. I think its finally ready to be shown.

Euro Tuner

Much to our surprise the latest issue of SCTV dropped this month with our very own Kaiju Ruckus. This was a long over due shoot which we finally had time to shoot the bike mid January in Chicago. Needless to say it was damn cold outside, but the bike started up without any issues, might be a little lean but still ran like a champ! SCTV has been dropping a lot of Chicago based ruckus. Its good to see some exposure in the midwest even if it is half way across the world. Anyways I just wanted to thank SCTV for the feature and Ginash from JDMC for the spread cover shot. LoS garage x JDM Chicago collabo

This one has been on the dl since December. JDM Chicago finally dropped the new online store with the latest soft goods and accessories. Ginash was nice enough to use one of our bikes as props during the shoot. We always want to show support to our locals and i can’t think of a better way of doing so and supporting the most known forum in Chicago.  We had an awesome time even though it was pretty chilly out. I learned a lot of things that day. For one, its not that easy to be on the other side of the glass. I gotta give it up to Julia, she really made it look super easy. Anyways, check out all the shots that Sonny took as he was photographer of the day. This our lookbook ver of the shoot. I hope you guys like!

Kickin’ it With My Homies

Where do i even start? I finally took the time this year to hit my homies in the west. Sonny and I flew over to LA to visit our friends Kevin & Ming from Standard Functions. Not only that, but we also met a few other interesting people during the vacation that made the whole 3 day visit pretty epic.

We started off in Little Tokyo and had Jessica contact the owner from bowls to tell him that two Chi-town homies are swinging by for the first time! We got a nice warm welcome from Ryan, one the owner of unique boutique.

Off to meet up with Kevin and Ming @ Standard Function. Finally, they put up a sign.
Everyone that I know with a name Ming drives a VIP car. Or was that Michael?
Sonny found a new toy @ SF and he wanted to test it out!
I need to make sure hes telling the truth..
Some photo work during my visit.
Afterwards we headed out for some Korean BBQ. Ming showing off his cooking skills. I’m so full i wasn’t even hungry the next morning!
Then following day we met up with Yogi which is also the manager for the Illest LA store. Great guy and hes also an amazing photographer too. The night before he took us to all the shooting locations downtown LA, sorry no pics they are all secret location, haha.
We all showed up getting ready to load all the bike into the trucks and head out to “The Chronicles” Honda meet. Sonny checking out Maggie, Thats Yogi by his dope truck and his homie Mike. Caught Kevin doing some labor intensive work.

At the Car Show. Ive never seen so many good looking honda’s in my life..

I told you we had a great week! Nothing short of spectacular in my books. I’d like to thank everyone for showing us a good time! Kevin, Ming, Yogi, Jessica, Sherry, All of the SF crew, Bowls LA, and Fatlace for taking care of us during our visit. Will make sure to return the favor when you guys visit Chi-town!
