Midori Remix

WE BACK!

It’s been a long time since we posted anything here. I think it’s time to sweep up the dust and start dropping some new lyrics.

Let’s start with a rebuild we did this summer, my buddys midori green ruckus. Previously built with questionable mods the owner wanted to rebuild it so that he can actually ride the bike day in, day out.

Everything was redone from the front wheels to the rear. Wiring issues plagued the bike previouly causing battery drain, so swapping out for a new ATR harness V4  was needed. We also installed an electric fuel pump to ensure that enough gas was being feed during wot.

Golden Brakes

Not to long ago we brought out the first 6 pot brakes on the ruckus. Today we are introducing the biggest 4 pot front brake  system on a 10″ ruckus. Custom for the GDLK bike we custom built spacers and caliper adapters to fit the huge Frando brakes. These are massive with 34/30 piston setup which covers about 1/4 of the wheel. We are also running Frando’s racing disc rotor. Without further delay here is the massive 4pot on the 10″ wheel.

Wheel spec: 10×4 with ATR hub

Brakes: Frando HF-6 (34/30) , 200mm rotor

As you can see the clearance is tight and the rotor gets swallowed by the huge caliper.  This is going to be one hell of a huge stopping power.

Hit us up if your looking to get the biggest brake set for 10″ wheels.

98 percent

Its been super busy over the month of June. I finally had time to do more work on the Kaiju bike. We actually started building the GDLK bike since all the parts came back from powdercoating. Here is a quick update on what the Kaiju bike looks like. let me know what you guys think? We actually stretched it out a little more to lower the bike and give a meaner stance.

Here is the party side

This one is all business

A few more detail parts and some titanium goodies and its done!

Mounted

The time has finally come where 2 things become one. After all the preparation and adjustments it was time to mount the engine where it belongs, but before the mount it was a perfect day for spraying the engine down with gloss black paint. Its finally coming together, but still feels like a long road ahead. I can’t wait to start releasing some of our new design in the coming weeks, until then check out the pics and the bonus video!!!

Prepping the motor to get painted jet black.

After three coats its finally ready.

Frame Prepped for the engine install.

Progress

Progress, progress, progress. The weather is getting warmer in Chicago so the motivation has kicked into overdrive.  We completed the full frame wire tuck and moving on to mounting the engine this weekend.  The wire tuck went in super smooth and fairly easy thanks to the ATR 11 pole Harness that Standard Function has provided us.

8 gauge starter wires tucked!

Tight fit

AN Fittings for that added detail.

More too come…. LoS out.
