Euro Tuner

Much to our surprise the latest issue of SCTV dropped this month with our very own Kaiju Ruckus. This was a long over due shoot which we finally had time to shoot the bike mid January in Chicago. Needless to say it was damn cold outside, but the bike started up without any issues, might be a little lean but still ran like a champ! SCTV has been dropping a lot of Chicago based ruckus. Its good to see some exposure in the midwest even if it is half way across the world. Anyways I just wanted to thank SCTV for the feature and Ginash from JDMC for the spread cover shot. Breaking Bad

Its been long awaited and with multiple revisions I can finally say that the Kaiju bike has a complete exhaust system! Thanks to Kevin from Standard Function for hooking me up with one of the most unique exhaust systems. Fully modified exhaust system to mimic the R6, with a low profile and sleek look to create that GP inspired design. We used a Akrapovic GP Megaphone Ti System, which was modified to fit the Ruckus and a custom Big Bore Header to keep the right amount of back pressure on the 170cc motor. Finally, SF polished the exhaust system to give a more bling effect, but I can already see the Ti change color after a quick 5 min test run around the block.

Not only that, but we also installed a custom Fuel Tank Cover. Which use to be a Daytona SS Cover is now a black wood grain cover with Rat-Koubou gas cap. Make sure you take your shoes off before you ride the bike. LOL

btw did you guys notice the fuel pump system? hehe.

98 percent

Its been super busy over the month of June. I finally had time to do more work on the Kaiju bike. We actually started building the GDLK bike since all the parts came back from powdercoating. Here is a quick update on what the Kaiju bike looks like. let me know what you guys think? We actually stretched it out a little more to lower the bike and give a meaner stance.

Here is the party side

This one is all business

A few more detail parts and some titanium goodies and its done!

Speedo Endo

I hope everyone had a wonderful memorials day weekend! LOS was busy making sure all the electrical was setup and neatly tucked on the Kaiju. We hooked up the KOSO speedo gauge to give us accurate readings on a daily basis. The functions on this gauge was off the charts everything from clock to cylinder head is included. I wanted something clean and sporty looking so going to with the DB-02R was exactly what I wanted.  Also on top of that we finally received the the custom brake line length for the front caliper, so it was time to bleed the big 6 pot brakes!

Mounted

The time has finally come where 2 things become one. After all the preparation and adjustments it was time to mount the engine where it belongs, but before the mount it was a perfect day for spraying the engine down with gloss black paint. Its finally coming together, but still feels like a long road ahead. I can’t wait to start releasing some of our new design in the coming weeks, until then check out the pics and the bonus video!!!

Prepping the motor to get painted jet black.

After three coats its finally ready.
